Here we are!

by Jaiden Caesar on September 01

The Gray-Headed Beadle, my father,  tells how it all began. Here, he soaks in the beautiful lyrics of "My Help Cometh from the Lord," a surprise video gift from his adopted daughter, Crystal Sompa Nyarko. It was a touching moment. On that memorable day—September 1, 2024—we worked tirelessly to officially launch Help N Hands Inc. While it was my father’s birthday celebration, it felt more like our organization’s unveiling to our community. It was a proud and emotional milestone, marking the beginning of something much bigger than we could have imagined.

Our Journey at Help N Hands

A Founder’s Perspective

by Jediah Caesar on September 01

Early Days Crèche - 11/2019

Our family always supported St. Jude's Children's Hospital, but in 2019, my perspective changed when I volunteered at a school in Accra, Ghana. Seeing the differences in opportunity inspired us to do more. We started collecting clothes, shoes, books, and school supplies to donate to children in need, both in Ghana and local shelters. Partnering with charities to help parents afford medical care for their children, Help N Hands Inc. was born. Now, as we celebrate my dad’s 50th birthday, our mission continues to grow. Your support is crucial—we couldn't do it without you.

Fueling Victory

Help N Hands Jollof Powers the Cardinals to a 3rd Straight Win.

Jollof Pre-Game Meal with our Awesome Assistant Principal.

The LHS football team loves my mother—though not more than I do—because she feeds them on game days and practice days, bringing her famous jollof rice and grilled chicken. With over 70 athletes, plus coaches and support staff, she nourishes them all. Recently, as the co-founder of Help N Hands Inc., I seized the opportunity to sponsor meals for the team. Everyone raved about the “Help N Hands Jollof Rice,” even voting it better than Nigerian Jollof, as confirmed by our Proud and Awesome Nigerian Assistant Principal. Plus, we celebrated a big win against Florence High School, marking three victories in a row this football season! It’s payday for us all, here at Lawrence High School. Proud to finish the season with a win-win; a win on our last game and a 100th win for our Head Coach Radices. What else can we ask for?

HOPE FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Kindness Project for 2024 - Spreading joy and love to kids in Ghana, this Christmas.

Hope for the Holidays is our heartfelt project this Holiday Season, to bring joy and support to children in need in Ghana. Many of these kids face difficult challenges every day, from economic hardship to health struggles, and we want to give them a brighter Christmas. We’ll be delivering packages with toys, school supplies, and festive food hampers so they can celebrate with their families and feel loved and valued. However, we can’t do this alone. With costs adding up, we’re seeking support from generous donors and organizations to make this happen. Whether through donations, connections, or simply spreading the word, any help will bring us closer to delivering these special gifts and creating happy holiday memories for the children. If you’d like to join our cause or know of groups willing to help, please reach out to us at helpnhands.npo@gmail.com.

Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity!
